The rich and diverse culture that all of India has been blessed with since ancient times is cause for much marvel and wonder. The village of Saligao is no exception to this, and every Saligaokar is proud of the village’s rich culture and heritage. In addition, Saligao has had more than its fair share of outstanding musicians, composers, literrateurs and such like. A cultured village indeed!
